Gujarat NEET UG Round 5 Counselling: 10,710 candidates ineligible for 33 vacant BDS seats

Try NowAs many as 10,710 candidates have been declared ineligible for Gujarat NEET UG round 5 counselling for BDS admissions. The Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) announced that it will conduct an additional state-level counselling to fill vacant seats after four rounds of the selection process.
Previously, the admission committee notified the Gujarat NEET UG round 5 and 6 counselling schedule to fill 33 BDS seats after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced its decision to conduct two extra rounds for both All India Quota (AIQ) and state quota seats lying vacant. BSc Nursing seats will also be filled during these rounds.
Online registration, PIN purchase, and document verification were completed on December 12. Following this, the ACPUGMEC has published the Gujarat NEET UG merit list for the last two rounds.
The choice filling facility for the eligible students will begin soon on the official website, medadmgujarat.org. The seat allotment will be declared soon after the choice filling and locking process by December 16. The round 5 counselling deadline for state admissions has been fixed as December 20 by the MCC.

Gujarat NEET UG: Round 5 merit list
A total of 7,030 candidates have been shortlisted to participate in the additional round, according to the Gujarat NEET UG round 5 general merit list. Candidates with NEET All India Rank (AIR) 6027 to 1318847 (13 lakh) will be competing for 33 BDS seats. The NEET UG 2025 scores of the selected candidates range from 567 to 113.
The candidature of 10,710 candidates who applied for admission to vacant seats in Gujarat medical colleges has been cancelled due to various reasons — including ineligibility for the domicile quota, admission under AIQ seats, failure to clear Class 12 board exam, and forfeiture of refundable security deposit.
