NEW DELHI: The Gujarat School Education Board (GSEB) has announced that Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 will be conducted on March 23, 2025. The exam will be held from 10 am to 4 pm at district level centres. The GUJCET 2025 application form and information booklet will be published soon on the official website, gseb.org.

GUJCET exam is held every year for admission to degree engineering, degree or diploma pharmacy courses in the state, for the science stream (group-A, group-B and group-AB).

GUJCET 2025 exam pattern

GUJCET exam 2025 will comprise multiple-choice questions on physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. The subject-wise number of questions and allotted marks are given below.

According to the GUJCET 2025 paper pattern, the question paper of physics and chemistry will be combined and 40 questions each from physics and chemistry will be asked. The total number of questions will be 80 and each question will carry one mark. Candidates will be given 120 minutes to attempt the question paper.

Biology and mathematics papers will be held separately. Each question paper will consist of 40 questions carrying 40 marks. Students will be provided 50 minutes each to complete the exam. GUJCET 2025 will be held in three mediums namely Gujarati, English and Hindi.

Last session, 1.38 lakh aspirants appeared for the entrance exam. The overall pass percentage of general stream students stood at 91.93% and while science stream students recorded a pass percentage of 82.45%. Moreover, 510 students scored above 99 percentile in GUJCET group A exam and 990 students secured top marks in group B.
