The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar, will close the application window for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2026) with the late fee today, January 16. Candidates can submit their GUJCET 2026 application form on the official website at gujcet.gseb.org.

Candidates will have to pay a GUJCET application fee of Rs 1,350, which includes a regular fee of Rs 350 and a late fee of Rs 1,000. The fee can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or through the SBI ePay option at any SBI branch.
The GSEB will conduct the GUJCET 2026 exam on March 29 for candidates of the HSC science stream of A, B, and AB groups. The exam will be held in three shifts: physics and chemistry from 10 am to 12 pm, biology from 1 pm to 2 pm, and mathematics from 3 pm to 4 pm.

Candidates applying for engineering courses will have to choose GUJCET group A. Those applying for pharmacy courses will have to select group B. Students who want to appear for both papers should choose group AB.
The GUJCET exam 2026 will last for 180 minutes and will have a total of 120 questions, with 40 questions in each section.
As per the GUJCET marking scheme, candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
To qualify for GUJCET 2026, general category candidates must score at least 54 marks, while reserved category candidates need a minimum of 48 marks out of a total of 120.
