GUJCET 2026 registration last date extended to January 16 with Rs 1,000 late fee

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has extended the last date for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2026) registrations to January 16 with a late fee of Rs 1,000. The GUCJET registration deadline has been extended for science stream students seeking engineering and pharmacy admissions.

The GSEB has announced that it will conduct the GUJCET 2026 exam on March 29 for candidates of HSC science stream of A, B, and AB groups.

Candidates seeking admission to engineering courses will have to opt for GUJCET Group A, those appearing for pharmacy seats will have to select Group B, and students who wish to attempt both papers will have to choose Group AB.

“The last date for filling the application form for the GUJCET-2026 examination ONLINE from the board's website www.gseb.org and gujcet.gseb.org was extended till 06/01/2026. Which is now extended till 16/01/2026 with a late fee of Rs. 1000,” the state board said.

The GUJCET exam fee is Rs 350. After the addition of a late fee, Rs 1,000, the total is Rs 1,350. Candidates have been instructed to make the payment online using credit card, debit card, net banking, or SBIEpay in ‘SBI Brank Payment’ option.

While filling the form, students are also required to upload their passport-size photograph and signature in the specified format. Both documents should be submitted in jpg format with file size not exceeding 50 KB size. The dimensions of the candidate's photograph and signature should be 120 px X 120 px.
