Haryana Board Re-exam 2024: BSEH Chairman V P Yadav informed that the Class 10 English exam of Aarohi Model Higher Secondary School, Revasan, and Hindu Higher Secondary School, Nuh-05 (B-2) centre were cancelled.

Check NowNEW DELHI: Board of School Education Haryana, chairman Ved Parkash Yadav, stated in a press conference that the Haryana Board re-examination 2024 of the canceled subjects in 3 exam centers of District Nuh will be conducted on April 16 at the district headquarters, Nuh.

Reports emerged of widespread cheating during the Class 10 board examination at a school in Haryana's Nuh district. A video circulated on social media depicted individuals climbing the school walls to pass notes to students taking their board exams. V P Yadav informed that the Class 10 English exam of Aarohi Model Higher Secondary School, Revasan, and Hindu Higher Secondary School, Nuh-05 (B-2) centre were cancelled.
He further said that Class 12 English core subject of the examination center, NDA, Baded, Firozpur Jhirka was cancelled and History exam of NDA, Udaka, centre was cancelled. The re-examinations of the mentioned subjects will be conducted on April 16, 2024 at the examination center of Hindu University, Nuh-05 (B-2).
Measures to combat cheating
The chairman said that the board adopted a zero-tolerance stance towards cheating, resulting in a significant reduction in such incidents. He highlighted the board installed CCTV cameras, command and control rooms at the board headquarters to monitor cheating. Furthermore, the board implemented question papers embedded with concealed security features, including QR codes and alphanumeric codes, to effectively combat cheating.

He said that in this regard the concerned school heads have also been informed through e-mail and telephone. The timing of the examinations will be from 12:30 pm to 03:30 pm. Candidates will have to reach the center 30 minutes before the examination i.e. at 12:00. After this, candidates will be prohibited from entering the centre.
Haryana Board Re-Exam 2024: Things to carry
Students are required to carry their school Id card, Aadhar card to the exam centre. Students are required to appear for the exam in school uniform. Students are not allowed to carry any books, cheats, notes and gadgets inside the exam hall.
