Haryana school timings revised for Durga Ashtami; classes from 10 am

Haryana schools will operate from 10 am to 2:30 pm on April 16.
NEW DELHI: The Haryana Education Department has revised the school timings of the state in the view of Durga Ashtami. As per the revised schedule, the schools in the state will operate from 10 am to 2:30 pm. Students will also get a meal break in between.
The revised Haryana school will be applicable only for April 16. The official X post read, "The School Education Department has decided to change the timings of schools in the state on Durga Ashtami on 16th April. Classes will be held on this day only from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm."
Haryana Board Class 10, 12 English re-exam 2024
The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has scheduled re-exams for cancelled subjects at three exam venues in Nuh district. BSEH chairman Ved Parkash Yadav has cancelled the Class 10 English exam at Aarohi Model Higher Secondary School in Revasan and Hindu Higher Secondary School in Nuh-05 (B-2). According to the official schedule, the senior secondary English (Core) and History re-exams will be held tomorrow, April 16 from 12:30 pm to 03:30 pm at the district headquarters in Nuh.

School bus overturns in Haryana
In Mahendragarh, Haryana, a tragic accident involving a school bus resulted in the loss of six children's lives and left at least 20 others injured. Questions arose regarding the lack of preemptive measures by authorities to prevent such a tragedy. State education minister Seema Trikha, during her visit to hospitals to meet the injured students, issued a show-cause notice to the private school inquiring why it remained operational on Thursday, which was designated as a holiday for Eid.
