Download NowThe Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has declared the Class 12 supplementary examination result 2026 for the improvement exams conducted in July. A total of 3,271 candidates appeared for the examination, of whom 1,931 students have passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 59.07%. Those who failed to secure minimum qualifying marks, i.e., 33 per cent, will have to repeat a year. The minimum qualifying marks was to be obtained separately in theory and practical components.

The supplementary examination was conducted for candidates appearing under the compartment, improvement of performance and additional subject categories, as well as diploma holders. Those who appeared for the examination can download their marksheets from the official HPBOSE website using their roll number.
According to the result data, 1,123 candidates have been placed in the compartment category, while two candidates were declared unsuccessful.
HPBOSE Chairman Dr Rajesh Sharma congratulated the students who secured above passing marks and wished them success in their further education and careers. He also urged students placed in the compartment category to continue their preparation for the next examination opportunity.
HPBOSE Class 12 supplementary result 2026: Steps to check
Candidates can check their HPBOSE Class 12 supplementary result 2026 by following these steps:
- Visit the official HPBOSE website, hpbose.org
- Open the result section on the homepage
- Click on the Class 12 supplementary result link
- Enter the required roll number and other details
- Submit the details to view the result
- Download and save the result for future references
Candidates can also download their results from DigiLocker. They must retain their result records for admission and other academic requirements.
HPBOSE Class 12 result 2026: Revaluation, rechecking details
Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for revaluation or rechecking through their respective schools. The fee for revaluation is Rs 1,000 per subject, while candidates have to pay Rs 800 per subject for rechecking. The last date to submit applications for both facilities is September 4, 2026.
The Class 12 supplementary examination was held from July 3 to 16, 2026. Ahead of result, HPBOSE had released the provisional answer key and allowed candidates to raise objections until August 17. The board had said that valid objections would be examined by subject experts and a revised answer key would be issued, if required, before preparation of the results.
