HP TET result 2018 for TGT Arts announced; 11084 candidates qualify

New Delhi, November 1: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has declared the result of HP TET 2018 for TGT Arts on October 31. Candidates can visit the official site hpbose.org and click on the result link. HP TET result has been announced in online mode wherein candidates have to enter the required credentials and check their result.
As per the result data of HP TET for TGT Arts, out of the 34032 appeared candidates, 11084 have cleared the TGT Arts exam. This means that out of the total appeared candidates, 32.57% candidates have qualified the examination. A total of 36698 candidates had registered for HP TET TGT Arts exam.
Earlier, the examination authority had declared the HP TET result for Shastri, LT, TGT Medical and Non-Medical, and Urdu on October 10. This year, Urdu TET recorded the highest success with 43.96 percent candidates qualifying the examination followed by Language Teacher (38.03%) and Shastri (33.3%). In terms of the maximum number of candidates emerging successful in the different streams of HP TET examination, TGT Arts stands next to Shastri TET.
TGT Non-Medical and Medical registered the minimum success rate with only 18.23% and 8.08% candidates qualifying the examination respectively.
HP TET 2018 was held on different dates for different streams. The paper s for JBT and Shastri TET were conducted on September 2, while TGT Non-Medical and Language Teacher TET were held on September 3. The examinations for TGT Medical and Arts were held on September 8, whereas the papers for Punjabi and Urdu TET were conducted on September 9.
As per the official data released by HPBOSE, this year, out of all the streams, the maximum number of candidates had registered for TGT Arts only. While TGT Arts recorded 36,698 registrations, TGT Non-Medical had 9844 registration followed by Language Teacher TET (8289), TGT Medical (6388), Shastri (3655) and 100 for Urdu TET.
