Download NowNEW DELHI: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has rescheduled the HP board Class 12 English exam for March 29. The HPBOSE Class 12 English re-exam 2025 will be held in the evening session from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, as per the HPBOSE official notice. Earlier, the HPBOSE Class 12 English exam was scheduled on March 8. The HPBOSE Class 12 English exam 2025 was cancelled due to a suspected paper leak.

According to Board officials, the HPBOSE Class 12 English paper leak was detected at Government Senior Secondary School, Chowari, District Chamba. As per PTI report, teachers at the mentioned school mistakenly opened the HP board 12th English question paper a day before its scheduled date. The HPBOSE Class 12 exams 2025 are scheduled from March 4 to March 29.

The HPBOSE Class 12 English paper was supposed to be conducted on March 8, but the seal was opened during the Class 10 exam on March 7. As per PTI report, the HPBOSE received an anonymous complaint regarding the HP Board Class 12 English paper leak , prompting an immediate investigation. The Board verified the claim using footage from the "Exam Mitra App", a surveillance application designed to monitor examination centres. Upon confirming the breach, the Board announced HPBOSE Class 12 English exam cancellation 2025 statewide to maintain the integrity of the exam process.
HPBOSE Board Exams 2025: Strict action against paper leak
HPBOSE secretary Vishal Sharma confirmed that the Board has taken the matter very seriously and will not tolerate any security lapses in the examination process. Sharma added that the Board has initiated a probe to identify those responsible for the breach, and strict action will be taken accordingly. The Board is also reviewing its security protocols to prevent such incidents in the future.
Students may visit the HPBOSE official website or contact their respective school's administration regarding any queries on the HPBOSE Class 12 English re-exam 2025. Students will be required to carry their HPBOSE Class 12 admit card and school ID to the exam hall.
