HPCET 2025 exam dates announced at himtu.ac.in; BTech, BPharmacy, MCA, MBA paper on May 10
The HPCET 2025 exam will be held in two sessions: Session 1 from 9 am to 12:15 pm for UG programmes, and Session 2 from 2 pm to 4 pm for PG programmes.

NEW DELHI: The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has announced the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2025 exam dates. As per the official notice, the HPCET 2025 exam for Undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) admission will be held on May 10, 2025.
Candidates who filled out the application form can check the HPCET 2025 exam date notice through the official website, himtu.ac.in. The HPCET 2025 exam will be held in two sessions. Session 1 will take from 9 am to 12:15 pm for UG programmes including Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharmacy).
Session 2 exam will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm for PG programmes including Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and MBA in Tourism and Hospitality Management (MBA T&HM).
HPCET 2025: Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for HPCET 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Candidates should have completed their Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board or university.

Candidates must have studied the required subjects, including Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Physics, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subjects, Agriculture, or Entrepreneurship.

Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in the aggregate of all the mentioned subjects and 40% for candidates in reserved categories.

HPCET 2025: Exam centers
The HPCET 2025 exam will be conducted at various locations across Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Chandigarh. In Himachal Pradesh, the cities include Bilaspur, Chamba, Dharamshala, Hamirpur, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Nahan, Solan, Una, Palampur, Paonta Sahib, Nurpur, Nalagarh, and Kala Amb. For Jammu and Kashmir, the exam will be conducted in Jammu, and in Chandigarh, the test will be held in the city of Chandigarh.
