NEW DELHI: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has commenced the registration process for the Haryana Police General Duty (GD) Constable exam today, September 10. Eligible candidates can fill out the HSSC GD constable 2024 application form by visiting the official website, hssc.gov.in. The last date to apply for the HSSC GD Constable 2024 exam is September 24.

The HSSC recruitment drive is set to fill 5,600 vacancies. Of these, 5,000 positions are allocated for male candidates, 600 for female candidates, and 1,000 for the Male Indian Reserve Battalions. As per the official notice, candidates from all the categories are exempted from paying any application fee for the HSSC police constable exam.

HSSC GD Constable 2024: Eligibility criteria

Candidates who want to apply for the Haryana SSC GD constable exam can check the eligibility criteria given below.

Age limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years old to 25 years old as of September 1, 2024. Upper age limit relaxations are applicable for reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Class 12 from a recognised education board or institution. Candidates must have completed matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects. No extra weightage will be given for higher education qualifications.

Haryana SSC GD Recruitment 2024: Documents required

Candidates can check the list of documents required to be uploaded with the HSSC GD 2024 application form.

  • Scanned copy of essential academic qualifications and matriculation certificate, including date of birth and other relevant details.

  • Scanned copy of SC, BCA, BCB, EWS certificates, as well as certificates for family members of ESM (Ex-Servicemen) and children/grandchildren of Freedom Fighters.

  • Scanned copy of any certificate supporting claims for reservation, weightage, or relaxation.

  • Scanned photograph.

  • Scanned signatures of the candidate.

  • Scanned copy of all documents supporting higher qualifications, experience, etc., if applicable.

  • Haryana Bonafide Resident certificate, if applicable.

  • EWS certificate.

  • Discharge certificate, book, if applicable, for those discharged from the Armed Forces (ESM).

  • Eligibility certificate for family members of ESM.

  • Eligibility and disability certificates for dependents of disabled ESM.

  • Certificate for children/grandchildren of Freedom Fighters.
