NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) exam from tomorrow onwards. The IAF AFCAT 2/2021 exam will be conducted on August 28, 29 and 30, 2021. Before appearing in the AFCAT 2/2021 exam, aspirants must check dos and don'ts to avoid any mistakes in the exam hall.

Candidates who successfully downloaded the AFCAT admit card 2021, will be able to appear in the AFCAT exam. The AFCAT 2/2021 exam for the written stage will be conducted in computer based online mode.

AFCAT 2/2021: Do’s and Don'ts - What to do at AFCAT exam centre?

  • Aspirants must carry their AFCAT 2/2021 admit card along with one government-issued photo-ID proof like Voter ID, Aadhaar card, Passport, PAN card, Driving license, etc.

  • Along with the admit card and supporting documents, aspirants must also carry hand sanitiser in a transparent bottle, double mask and they must maintain social distance.

  • Aspirants are advised to carry one passport size photograph identical to the one which they used while filling the application form.

  • Aspirants must reach the AFCAT exam centre at least 30-40 minutes before the reporting time. This will help them avoid traffic congestion, roadblocks and help in finding the exam centre easily.

  • Candidates must support the staff in security checkups at the exam centre.

What not to do at the AFCAT exam centre?

  • Don’t wear any expensive item like jewellery etc at the exam centre.

  • Don’t carry any electronic or wireless its such as bluetooth device, smartphone, smart watch, pendrive etc.

  • Don’t get involved in any such interdisciplinary activities such as cheating, copying on passing on notes at the exam centre, this may lead to temporary or permanent suspension of the candidate from appearing in future AFCAT exams.

The Indian Air Force conducts the AFCAT exam twice a year to recruit candidates for Flying Branch, Technical and Non-technical Branches. The AFCAT 2/2021 application form was released on June 1, 2021. The online written test of AFCAT is followed by AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) and medical test, subject to candidates qualification.
