IAF Agniveervayu 2025 registration ends tomorrow; exam from March 22

NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force (IAF) will end the registration process for the Agniveervayu recruitment exam 2025, tomorrow, January 27. The IAF Agniveervayu 2025 exam is scheduled to be held from March 22 onwards. Eligible candidates can apply online for IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025 through the official website, agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
As per the official notice, candidates from all the categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 550 to fill out the IAF Agniveervayu registration form. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must be born between January 1, 2005, and July 1, 2008, both dates inclusive. “In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years,” the official notice read.
IAF Agniveervayu 2025: Medical standards
General medical standards for Agniveervayu male and female candidates are given below.
- Height: The minimum acceptable height for both male and female candidates is 152 cm. For candidates belonging to North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cm will be accepted. In the case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height will be 150 cm.
- Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF
- Chest dimension: The minimum chest circumference for male candidates is 77 cm, with a chest expansion of at least 5 cm. Female applicants should have a well-proportioned and formed chest wall, with a minimum range of expansion of 5 cm.
- Hearing: The candidate should have normal hearing, which means being able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 metres using each ear separately.
- Dental: Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and a minimum of 14 dental points.
- Eyesight: Visual acuity should be 6/12 in each eye and correctable to 6/6.

IAF Agniveervayu 2025: Selection process
The IAF Agniveervayu selection process consists of three phases. Phase 1 includes a computer-based test (CBT), Phase 2 involves a physical fitness test (PFT) along with adaptability tests 1 and 2, and Phase 3 includes a medical examination.
As per the official notice, the State-wise Provisional Select List (PSL) will be prepared after the completion of the selection test and will be published at all ASCs and on the web portal on November 14, 2025. The inclusion of male and female candidates in the PSL depends on their performance in the selection test. The list of candidates finally called for enrolment in Agniveervayu intake 1/2026 will be published on December 1, 2025.
