NEW DELHI: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IPBS) will close the registration process for the Probationary Officers (PO) 2024 tomorrow, August 21. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form through the official website ibps.in.
As per the exam schedule, the IBPS PO 2024 prelims exam is scheduled to be held on October 19, 20. The IBPS PO mains exam will take place on November 30, 2024. The IBPS recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4,455 probationary officer vacancies in the department.
To register for the exam, candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), ex-servicemen (ESM), and dependent of ex-servicemen (DESM) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 175, while all other candidates will be required to pay Rs 850. The last date to make payment is August 21.
The IBPS PO selection process includes a preliminary exam, a mains exam, and a personal interview. The preliminary exam is qualifying and its scores are not included in the final merit list. The final merit list is determined based on the marks achieved in the mains exam and the personal interview.
