IBPS PO, SO application correction window opens on July 31; edit details by August 1

Subscribe NowThe Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will open the application correction window for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for the recruitment of IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) and Specialist Officers (SO) on July 31. Eligible candidates will be able to edit or modify their IBPS application forms till August 1 through the official website at ibps.in.
As per the official notice, candidates can resubmit their corrected applications only once. Candidates will have to pay a correction fee of Rs 200 to edit their IBPS application form. The fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted against any future IBPS examinations.
Candidates will be allowed to edit all details in the application form except for their name, email ID, mobile number, state or union territory mentioned in the correspondence and permanent address, post applied for, and nationality.

IBPS PO, SO Recruitment 2025: Category changes allowed
Changes in the category field will be permitted as per the specified guidelines. Candidates belonging to the General (GEN), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), or Other Backwards Classes–Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) categories can modify their category to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
However, those who are already under SC, ST, or PwBD categories will be allowed to make changes only within these same categories. In case a candidate changes their category from GEN, EWS, or OBC-NCL to SC, ST, or PwBD, the application fee already paid will not be refunded.
“After the expiry of ‘Edit Window for candidates to Modify/ Correct Application Form’, no change/ correction/ modification will be allowed under any circumstances. No requests in this regard will be entertained,” the official notice said.
