ICAI CA Exams 2021: CA intermediate and CA final exams postponed amid second wave of COVID-19

The new dates for CA examination will be announced soon. A notice of at least 25 days will be given before the start of the CA examination.
NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced that CA Intermediate and Final examinations which were scheduled to be held on May 21 and May 22 respectively, have been postponed till further notice. The new CA exam dates will be announced in due course. Candidates will be given at least 25 days notice before the commencement of the examination.

“In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of the welfare and well being of students and to mitigate their hardships, it has been decided to postpone the final and Intermediate Chartered Accountants Examination which are scheduled to commence from 21st (Final)/ 22nd (Intermediate) May 2021, across the globe,” read the ICAI’s latest notification.

The notification adds that the COVID-19 situation will be reviewed considering the number of cases, MHA guidelines and Central and state government guidelines. Candidates are advised to check the official website of ICAI - icai.org - for the latest updates.
