Check NowThe Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the schedule for the September to November 2026 cycle of Chartered Accountancy(CA) examinations, covering foundation, intermediate, final as well as two post-qualification member examinations.
As per the official ICAI examination timetable, candidates will be able to submit their online exam forms from July 6 through the CA Self Service Portal (SSP) portal, eservices.icai.org.
The foundation papers are scheduled in September, intermediate examinations spread across early September, and final examinations to be conducted in November. ICAI has also retained the online-only application format and provided a short correction window for students seeking changes in medium or exam preferences.

Candidates have also been informed that the institute will not alter the notified paper dates even if any examination day is later declared a public holiday by central or state authorities, making the released calendar final for planning purposes.

ICAI further clarified in the notification that while most papers will continue to be of three-hour duration from 2 pm to 5 pm, Foundation papers 3 and 4 will be held for two hours, and final paper 6 along with the International Taxation Assessment Test will run for four hours. A 15-minute advance reading period from 1:45 pm will be provided in all papers except foundation papers 3 and 4 and post-qualification tests.

ICAI CA Exams 2026: Exam fee
For Indian centres, ICAI has kept the foundation exam fee at Rs 1,500, intermediate single group at Rs 1,500, both groups at Rs 2,700, while CA final single group candidates will pay Rs 1,800 and both groups Rs 3,300.
The institute has also allowed students to choose either English or Hindi medium while writing Foundation, Intermediate and Final papers.
