Download NowNEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the reopening of the online registration window for the Chartered Accountants (CA) Final and Post Qualification Course (PQC) exams, scheduled for November 2024. As per the ICAI official notice, CA November 2024 registration window will open for two days, from September 11 (11:00 am) to September 12 ( till11:59 pm).
This move comes as a one-time measure following requests from students, due to the shortened timeline for application submissions. ICAI had initially notified students of the new timeline on July 18, 2024, to provide ample time for application. However, due to this being the first instance of a shortened application period, the Institute has decided to offer this extension as a special case.
CA November 2024 Registration Re-opens: Late fee applicable
As per the official ICAI notice, candidates are required to pay a late fee of Rs 600 or US$10 to apply for CA Final November 2024 exams. Candidates can pay the CA November 2024 registration fee through credit card, debit card, UPI or net banking. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the CA November 2024 application form by visiting the ICAI's official website, icai.org.
CA exams to be held thrice a year
This decision follows ICAI’s shift to conducting the CA Intermediate and Foundation exams three times a year, instead of the previous twice-a-year schedule. As a result, the application period for the September 2024 exams was reduced from 28 days to 17 days. This change also applies to the November 2024 Final and PQC exams, which include the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT-AT).
