ICAR AIEEA PG Counselling 2026: Round 1 registration begins; seat allotment on October 5

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has commenced the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) PG 2026 online counselling registration for admission to postgraduate programmes, excluding the veterinary stream, and PhD programmes in agriculture and allied sciences for the 2026-27 academic session today, September 29.

The ICAR AIEEA PG registration, choice filling, counselling fee payment and document uploading will continue until October 2 at 11:50 pm.

Eligible candidates can register through the official ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 counselling portal. Candidates will have to register by paying a non-refundable counselling registration fee of Rs 500.

The ICAR AIEEA counselling 2026 is being conducted for PG degree programmes in agriculture and allied science disciplines other than veterinary science and PhD programmes across the participating agricultural universities under the ICAR-AU system. The AIEEA PG 2026 examination was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on July 4, 2026.

ICAR AIEEA PG Counselling 2026: How to register

Candidates eligible for counselling can complete the registration process through the ICAR counselling portal. The brochure specifies the following process:

• Visit the ICAR counselling portal at icarcounseling.com
• Click the registration link and read the counselling instructions, declaration and undertaking carefully.
• Agree to the terms and conditions by selecting the ‘I agree’ option.
• Log in using the credentials provided to the eligible candidates through SMS or email.
• Pay the fee through the online payment gateway using a credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI.
• Check the personal and academic details displayed during registration and provide the correct name of the college or university from which the degree was obtained, if required.
• Fill in the preferred subjects and universities during the choice-filling window.
• Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
• Save the choices before the deadline and keep a printout of the final choice list for future reference.

ICAR AIEEA PG Counselling 2026: Documents required

Candidates are required to upload scanned images of the original documents in JPEG format during counselling. The originals will have to be produced during physical reporting at the finally allotted agricultural university.

The required documents include:

• Class 10/High School/Matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth
• Class 10, Class 12 and subsequent certificates and marksheets/grade reports
• Final-year UG/bachelor's degree marksheet/grade report or certificate from the university registrar
• NTA-issued AIEEA (PG) admit card
• Computer-generated confirmation page of the NTA application
• ICAR-issued rank card
• Passport-size colour photographs matching those uploaded during the NTA application
• Aadhaar card or 28-digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID, passport, ration card, bank passbook or another valid government identity proof
• Domicile certificate
• Character certificate from the head of the last institution attended
• SC, ST, UPS, OBC-NCL or Gen-EWS category certificate, wherever applicable
• PwBD medical certificate issued by a medical officer of a government hospital, wherever applicable
• Sponsorship certificate or employer declaration for in-service candidates.

The ICAR AIEEA PG allotment letter and provisional admission letter are not required for online uploading but must be produced during physical reporting at the allotted university.
