ICMAI releases CMA Foundation exam day instructions; Check details here
Candidates appearing in the CMA Foundation 2021 exam, scheduled for September 5, must check the exam day instructions. Failing to meet the basic requirements will be subject to cancellation.

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has released the CMA Foundation June 2021 exam day instructions for candidates on its official website. The instructions are divided into three parts - before, during and post exam guidelines. CMA Foundation June 2021 exam will be conducted on September 5, 2021 in home-based, online mode.
Candidates can appear in the exam using mobile/ laptop/ desktop/ tab only. Exam link and relevant details of CMA Foundation 2021 exam will be sent to candidates on their email Id/ SMS.

Guidelines to be followed:
Before the start of CMA Foundation exam

Prepare a clear work space. Remove all unnecessary material that is around

Inform everyone at your home not to enter the area where you are giving exam

Check the IT requirements, system webcam/ microphone and internet connection in advance

Download and install the online assessment tool prior to starting of the CMA Foundation examination

Before starting the exam, enter “cma2021” in the assessment URL and then continue
-
Make sure to note down proper your identification/ registration number, date of birth (as per record), passkey and other details before logging in to examination screen

If you are appearing in session 1, please login by 10 am (maximum 10:30 am) and if you are appearing in session 2, please login by 2 pm (maximum 2:30 pm)

Make sure to dress up neatly

Upload your institute ID/ admit card or government issued ID card
During the CMA Foundation exam

The exam will be of 2 hours duration, so login on the reported time

You will be under surveillance at all time during the CMA Foundation exam
-
Do not press the backspace key, refresh/ close any window while attempting the exam
-
There will be no negative marking
-
If you are logged out within exam time due to power/ internet failure then you may return to the exam window when it's fixed. Do not stop the session forcefully

After answering the questions, you will see review answers option in which you can recheck the answers marked

Once satisfied with the answers, you can submit your CMA Foundation exam

A proctor/ invigilator will monitor your activities. Please do not violate any instructions

Do not leave the view of webcam at any time except for any urgency

Do not read the questions aloud/ use headphones/ earphones
After the CMA Foundation exam

Save the submission page for future reference

Do not try to appear in the exam before/ after the exam time
General Instructions-

Login provided to candidates is only valid for the CMA Foundation exam day and will be deactivated automatically

The final decision of the CMA Foundation exam rests with the ICMAI
-
The passkey to login will be given to candidates one day before the CMA Foundation exam

It is advised to use the same system that you used for appearing in the CMA Foundation model exam
-
Keep in advance sufficient power/ electricity back up
