The claim, which has been widely shared on social media, caused confusion among students and parents. Board officials have made it clear that the viral message is not genuine and did not come from any official source.

As per TOI, the results are likely to be declared towards the end of April, in line with previous years. Students are advised to follow only the official CISCE website for updates and avoid relying on unverified information circulating online.

CISCE ICSE Class 10 exam 2026: Dates and passing marks

This year, over 2.5 lakh students are estimated to have appeared for the exams, which were conducted between February 17 and March 30, 2026, across multiple centres.

To pass, students are required to secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject, including both theory and internal assessment components. Additionally, candidates must pass in at least five subjects, including English, to be declared successful in the examination.
