Check NowNEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced that it will hold the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) on May 3. In this regard, the ICSI has opened the CSEET registration for the May 2025 session exam on the official website, icsi.edu.
As per the eligibility criteria for the CSEET 2025, candidates who are appearing for Class 12 board exam 2025 or have passed the exam in the previous year will be considered eligible to apply for the test. The University Grants Commission (UGC) recognises the CS qualification equivalent to postgraduate degree, the institute said.
The syllabus for the ICSI CSEET exam comprises business communication, legal aptitude and logical reasoning, economic and business development, current affairs and quantitative aptitude. The exam carries 200 marks with 50 marks allotted to each section. As per the marking scheme, there will be no negative marking for incorrect responses.

The Company Secretary (CS) exam will be conducted in remote-proctored mode giving candidates the flexibility to appear from anywhere. Moreover, all registered candidates will be able to access free online, virtual teaching and several fee concession facilities, it said.
While the ICSI CSEET exam is on May 3, its registrations will be closed on April 15, 2025. To qualify the exam, candidates will have to secure an aggregate of 50% and a minimum 40% marks in each paper in order to qualify the exam.
