ICSI to replace CS Foundation with CSEET; know details here

NEW DELHI- The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has discontinued the CS Foundation programme and entry to the course of Company Secretaryship will now take place through CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET). The Institute notified various modifications to the already existing rules and regulations for students. The graduate and postgraduate students who could avail direct entry to the Executive programme will also have to appear for CSEET. Only the following category of students can avail exemption from CSEET:

CS Foundation Programme passed students
-
CA Final pass students (with payment of Rs 5000 as exemption fee)
-
CMA Final pass students (with payment of Rs 5000 as exemption fee)
Note- The students already registered under the CS Foundation programme need not worry because they will get the chance to appear in the exams until their CS Foundation registration is valid.
ICSI also shared that the entrance exam will be conducted multiple times in a year and the tentative schedule for CS Executive Entrance Test is as follows:
