IGNOU 2026 January registration begins for ODL programmes; apply using APAAR ID

The IGNOU 2026 registration for January session for admission to ODL programmes will be active until January 31.
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the registrations for IGNOU 2026 January registrations for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes. Candidates can register for the online courses through the official website at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
The IGNOU 2026 registration for January session for admission to ODL programmes will be active until January 31. The IGNOU provides admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certification programmes through its registration process.
Candidates will have to key their login information, including date of birth, 10-digit enrollment number to view IGNOU registration 2026 January details. The open university will also commence the IGNOU registration 2026 for the July session from June to October.
“Applicants have to provide valid APAAR ID and ragging in any form is totally prohibited in IGNOU. Anyone found guilty is liable to be punished,” as per the official notification.
The IGNOU registration 2026 January fee is Rs 200, while for project courses up to four credits, the examination fee is Rs 300, and for courses above four credits, the fee is Rs 500.
The registration charges can be paid through credit card, debit card, or net banking. “Candidates may pay the price within the extended deadline by paying an extra Rs 1,100 late fee after the fee's due date,” the official website says.
