IGNOU Admission 2022: Re-registration deadline has also been extended to February 28
NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended deadlines to apply for the January 2022 admission cycle for all programmes offered through IGNOU’s Open and Distance Mode (ODL) and online programmes to February 28. Candidates can apply until the deadline without paying the late fee.
IGNOU has also extended the last date for re-registration for the January 2022 session of IGNOU admissions. The deadline for re-registration has also been extended to February 28, said a statement from IGNOU.

IGNOU offers more than 200 programmes such as masters’ degree programmes, bachelors’ degree programmes, diplomas, certificate programmes, appreciation programmes among others. Candidates willing to apply for IGNOU programmes can apply online at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.
According to the IGNOU official website, fee exemption available to SC and ST students can be claimed only for one programme. If more applications are submitted with fee exemption, all the applications will be rejected.

Candidates are supposed to upload certain scanned copies of documents while applying for IGNOU admissions. The required documents are given below:

Category certificate, if the candidate belongs to SC, ST, OBC community

BPL certificate, if the candidate is below the poverty line
