IGNOU invites entries to Student Innovation Award 2022
IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022: The best three entries will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively.

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited entries for the IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022 for IGNOU students who have developed something innovative. The best three entries will be awarded with trophies, certificates and cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. Interested students can submit their applications for the IGNOU Student Innovation Award 2022 by September 30, 2022. Students can download the prescribed application format and guidelines for submitting entries from the IGNOU website -- ignou.ac.in.
"Recognizing the importance of Research and Innovation in the overall growth and development of a Nation, the IGNOU has been emphasizing the recognition and promotion of the Innovator Students in different fields from across the Country. In order to identify, recognize and nurture the Innovator Students, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites entries for the Student Innovation Award-2022," said a statement from IGNOU.

The Student Innovation Awards scheme was instituted by the National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE) at IGNOU in the year 2018. Awards are being given ever since then, to the best three IGNOU student innovators every year. Other potential innovators who participated in the award are provided training and support to further their innovation and scale it for business or other applications. These students are also given the opportunity by IGNOU to participate in competitions organized by various ministries and organisations.
School of Management Studies at IGNOU has recently launched new MBA programmes and MCom programmes for the July 2022 session. Interested candidates can apply for these programmes at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
