NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started admission for January 2022 session. Candidates can apply for various programmes offered by the university on the official website of IGNOU - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The last date to apply for the January 2022 session is January 31, 2022.

IGNOU January 2022 session: Steps to fill application form
Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to apply for IGNOU PhD entrance exam 2021 for admission to various PhD programmes till December 30. Interested candidates can apply for the IGNOU PhD admission at the official website - ignou.nta.nic.in.
The last date for payment of application fee is December 31 and candidates will be able to make corrections, if any, in the applications from January 1 to 3, 2022.

NTA will conduct the entrance exam on January 16, 2022. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the timings would be 10am to 1pm. Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to PhD programmes at the university on the basis of the entrance test and interview or presentation.
