IGNOU January 2022 Session: Registration for fresh admission ends tomorrow

NEW DELHI: The registration for fresh admission to Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) January 2022 session will end tomorrow, January 31. Candidates can apply for various programmes offered by the university on the official website of IGNOU - ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

IGNOU January 2022 session: Steps to register
- Visit the official website of IGNOU - https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/
- Click on the 'New Registration' link.
- Fill the required registration details.
- Remember username and password to login.
- Make payment of application fees.
- Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.

Meanwhile, IGNOU has launched a new programme , Postgraduate diploma in migration and diaspora (PGDMIDI). The programme launched by IGNOU’s school of interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary studies will begin from the January 2022 academic session. The IGNOU PG diploma will be offered in an open distance learning mode with one-year duration. The course will be available only in English, and it includes theoretical and project assignments.
IGNOU’s School of Humanities has launched bachelor of arts (honors) in Urdu (Baudh) and Sanskrit (Baksh) starting from the January admission session. Students interested to enroll in the BA (Hons) programmes can access the admission portal of IGNOU at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and register for the respective programmes.

In addition to that, IGNOU’s School of Social Work has launched the online Bachelor in Social Work programme . Interested students can enroll in the BSW online programme through the official link - ignouiop.samarth.edu.in. The programme will be offered online and is open to students with 10+2 or equivalent grades. BSW graduates will get to work in areas of healthcare, education, counseling, social defense, women, children, mental health, disability sectors etc.
