IGNOU, CII to hold mega job drive in Delhi on January 12; IT, banking, hospitality firms to recruit

IGNOU Recruitment Drive 2026: The Ahmedabad job drive will be held on January 19. Students and alumni with graduation, diploma, or higher secondary qualifications can participate.
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), will hold a job fair in Delhi on January 12, 2026. The recruitment drive will begin at 10 am and will take place at NBCC EDC Ghitorni, 8431, Mehrauli–Gurugram Road, Gadaipur, Ghitorni, New Delhi – 110030.
As per the university, the drive aims to provide employment opportunities for IGNOU students and alumni across multiple sectors including IT, banking, automobile, electronics, e-commerce, hospitality, telecommunication, and insurance.
The university states that positions available at the Delhi job fair include customer care executives in backend operations and team members/crew members in quick service restaurants.
Eligible candidates include IGNOU graduates, those pursuing undergraduate programmes, or candidates who have completed their higher secondary education from a recognised institution. Candidates are required to carry updated resumes, educational certificates, Aadhaar card, PAN card, and a photograph.

IGNOU Ahmedabad recruitment drive on January 19
In addition to the Delhi job drive, IGNOU regional centre at Ahmedabad will host a recruitment drive by T Tech (TTEC) on January 19, 2026, from 10 am onwards at the regional centre near Hiramani School, Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway, opposite Nirma University, Chharodi, Ahmedabad.
T Tech, a global CX, BPO and technology solutions provider, will recruit for Customer Service – Back Office roles, including service and sales positions in chat and non-voice operations.
The Ahmedabad-based roles offer a salary between Rs 28,000 and Rs 36,000 per month, with benefits including PF, insurance, gratuity, one-way cab facility, five-day work week, and night shift allowance.
IGNOU students and alumni from any programme with a diploma or graduate qualification are eligible for the Ahmedabad drive. Candidates will have to carry updated CVs, ID proof, and IGNOU ID/enrolment proof.
IGNOU vice-chancellor Uma Kanjilal extended her wishes to the candidates and companies participating in the second edition of the IGNOU-CII mega job fair. She said, “Such initiatives reflect IGNOU’s dedication to the government’s initiative of Skill India Mission and its commitment towards preparing a skilled industry-ready workforce.” She highlighted the university’s role in preparing a workforce aligned with national education, skilling, and employment objectives.
