NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will close the application window for fresh admissions and re-registration today, October 20. Interested candidates can apply for IGNOU admission 2023 through the official website, ignou.samarth.edu.in.
Earlier, the last date to apply online for the IGNOU July 2023 session was October 10. The university will impose a late fee of Rs 200 to students who have not yet submitted their forms.

Initially, the deadline to submit IGNOU registration form was June 30. This is the eighth time the university has extended the registration deadline. The July 2023 Re-Registration was commenced on May 8, 2023.
IGNOU July 2023: How to register
Candidates can follow the easy steps given below to register for IGNOU July 2023 admissions.
- Visit the official websites, ignou.samarth.edu.in or ignou.ac.in
- Register with basic details and course opted for
- Using the details including enrollment number login again.
- Fill the application form.
- Submit and pay the application fee.
Candidates will need their user ID, password, registered mobile number, registered email address, banking details, photographs, signature, date of birth and relevant certificates for the IGNOU re-registration process. Candidates have to pay a pre-requisite fee for the IGNOU July 2023 session re-registration.
Candidates should note that the registration fee can be made only through online mode. Candidates can pay the registration fee using credit card, debit card and net banking. In case the candidates apply for cancellation of admission, then full programme fee paid shall be refunded if the admission hasn’t been confirmed.
