IGNOU PhD Admission: NTA extends entrance test application deadline till December 30

IGNOU PhD admission: National Testing Agency has extended the application deadline from December 22 to December 30.
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to apply for Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) PhD entrance exam 2021 for admission to various PhD programmes till December 30. Interested candidates can apply for the IGNOU PhD admission at the official website - ignou.nta.nic.in.

Earlier the deadline for submission of application form for IGNOU PhD entrance test 2021 was December 22. “The last date for the submission of Online Application Form has been extended from December 22, 2021 to December 31, 2021.This is being done keeping in view of a large number of requests received for the same,” NTA said in an official notification.
The last date for payment of application fee is December 31 and candidates will be able to make corrections, if any, in the applications from January 1 to 3, 2022.

“The candidates are requested to undertake the correction(s) very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates after the above mentioned correction period,” NTA added in its notification.
NTA will conduct the entrance exam on January 16, 2022. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the timings would be 10am to 1pm. Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to PhD programmes at the university on the basis of the entrance test and interview or presentation.

- Fill in the online application form and note down the application number.
- Upload the required documents
- Pay the application fee
- Download the application form
- Take a printout of the form for future reference
