IIM Ahmedabad PGP Summer Placement 2024: A total of 159 firms opened JDs with 125 of them making offers for 147 roles across 3 different clusters.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has completed the summer placements for the MBA class of 2026 of the postgraduate programmes (PGP) in management, with all 394 students being placed across more than 25 cohorts. Despite the uncertain market conditions, the institute claimed that it saw a rise in recruiting firms participating in the IIM-A summer placements.
The institute conducted the summer placements for the PGP students in three clusters - cluster 1 was held on November 12 and cluster 2 and 3 on November 15 and 18 respectively. Recruiters were grouped into cohorts based on the sector they operate in and these groups were invited across different clusters.
It said that the flexibility of making “dream” applications to companies of their choice was made even more flexible this year in line with the institute’s “belief in the idea of ‘student-recruiter fit’. This year, 106 students submitted over 200 dream applications.
