IIM Bodh Gaya records 100% placement for MBA 2019-21; Highest CTC 17.3 LPA
IIM Bodh Gaya witnesses the highest CTC at Rs 17.3 LPA (lakh per annum) for the largest ever batch size of 109 students.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya, has concluded the current placement season for its fifth MBA batch (2019-21) with a 100 percent placement record. A total of 86 recruiters participated in the placements, while last year there were only 50 recruiters. There is a 65 percent increase in the size of the batch every year and, therefore, making this batch the largest with 109 students.
Despite a 65 percent year-on-year increase in the batch size, leading to an overall 75 percent freshers in the batch, the average CTC offered to the IIM Bodh Gaya 2019-21 MBA batch increased to Rs 10 LPA approximately (precisely 9.92 LPA) as against Rs 9.57 LPA offered to the previous batch. As close to 50 recruiters extended 100 plus offers across domains and industries.
IIM Bodh Gaya witnessed a 7 percent increase in the highest CTC, which stood at Rs 17.3 LPA, as compared to previous year. This is regardless of the post pandemic economy. Of all the recruiting organisations, 45 per cent comprised large corporates and MNCs, while close to 14 percent of recruiters were young unicorns.
Sabyasachi Mohapatra, Chairperson, Career Development Centre quoted, “Despite the unprecedented challenges caused by the pandemic, our young team has pulled a phenomenal feat by roping in some of the leading first-time recruiters.”
