Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad has successfully conducted the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021 on November 28, 2021. IIMs announce the CAT result in the first week of January every year. For the past 3 years, IIM has announced CAT results on the first Saturday in January. With this, the CAT 2021 result is expected to be announced tomorrow, on January 1, 2022.

Candidates will be able to check their IIM CAT result 2021 on the official website - iim.cat.ac.in. CAT 2021 result will be available in a form of a scorecard and it can be downloaded using the CAT login Id and password.

How to download CAT result 2021
In order to check the CAT exam result and download the CAT scorecard, candidates should follow the below steps.

Go to the official IIM CAT website, that is, iimcat.ac.in.

Next, find and click on the ‘CAT 2021 Result’ tab and enter CAT user ID and password to log in.

From the dashboard, click on the ‘IIM CAT Score Card’ link.

CAT result 2021 will appear on the display.

Download the CAT 2021 scorecard and keep it for future use.
NOTE: Apart from this, the students will be informed about the CAT 2021 results via SMS on their registered phone number and the CAT 2021 percentile of a student will be mentioned.
What after the CAT result
After the declaration of the CAT 2021 result, IIM will release the CAT cutoff on its official website individually. Candidates who meet the minimum CAT cutoff score will be notified by email by their respective IIMs for the next round of selection. Each IIM sends interview letters directly to the listed candidates by email, registered or speed post. Criteria for shortlisting vary across IIMs.
Generally, IIMs follow a selection process that includes the following rounds- Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI).
The final selection of the candidates for MBA admissions 2022-2024 will be done on the basis of various parameters such as CAT 2021 score, work experience, academic diversity, academic history, gender diversity, and performance in WAT/ GD-PI.
