Use NowThe Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have announced that it will conduct the Common Admission Test (CAT 2025) on November 30 for admission to various postgraduate and doctorate programmes offered in IIMs. The IIM CAT 2025 exam will be held as a computer-based test (CBT) in three sessions. As per the CAT 2025 notification , the registration process will begin from August 1. Admission to various management programmes will be done based on the CAT scores. However, CAT scores are not the only criteria for admissions. The institutes also consider factors such as work experience, previous academic performance, gender and academic diversity while selecting candidates.
IIMs may also conduct additional rounds such as group discussion (GD), written ability test (WAT), and/ or interview after the CAT exam for final selection.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have completed bachelor’s degree with at least 50% or equivalent CGPA marks will be eligible to apply for the national-level MBA entrance exam. The institutes provide 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC, ST, PwD category candidates.

The CAT registration fee 2025 has been increased from Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates and from Rs 2,500 to Rs 2,600 for all other categories.
