NEW DELHI: IIM Bangalore has conducted the CAT 2022 slot 2 exam successfully. The CAT slot 2 exam started at 12:30 pm and got over at 2:30 pm. The exam was of 2 hours duration in which 66 questions of three different sections of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning were to be answered by the test takers. Students who appeared in CAT slot 2 exam pointed the exam to be of moderate difficulty where the Quant section was a bit tricky.

The CAT exam conducted in slot 2 was having the same exam pattern as the CAT exam slot. There were 24 questions from the VARC section, 20 questions from DILR and 22 questions from the QA sections.

CAT slot 2 analysis

As per the students who attempted CAT 2022 paper in slot 2, the CAT 2022 question paper was of moderate to easy difficulty with the Quant section having tricky questions. The DILR section of IIM CAT entrance was pointed out to be the toughest among the three sections. The selection of the right set in this section was important. As per the CAT exam slot 2 analysis shared by students, the VARC section had 3 easy RC whereas the fourth one was comparatively tougher.

As per Sakshi, one of the CAT aspirants who appeared in CAT 2022 slot 2 exams, said that CAT 2022 exam of this shift was of moderate difficulty where she found DILR section to be a bit tough and VARC section to be of easy level. Abhay, the first-time CAT test taker, said that the Quant section of CAT exam slot 2 was tricky for him and it took the whole time of that section to solve it with accuracy. As per the CAT slot 2 analysis shared by Ajit, DILR section has the requirement of choosing the right set to begin and ace this MBA entrance.

With the conclusion of CAT exam slot 2, CAT exam slot 3 will commence at 4:30 pm. The CAT answer key 2022 and CAT response sheet will be issued by the authorities soon. The CAT result will be announced tentatively in the second week of January 2023.
