IIM Kashipur records 100% summer placement, stipend increases 4.7%

NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur, recorded 100 percent placement for a batch of 323 students in the recently-concluded summer placements season.
A total of 358 internship offers were made to students of IIM Kashipur which saw highest ever participation from female and non-engineering background candidates this year.
The placement drive also recorded the highest stipend of Rs 3,30,000 for two months, recording an increase of 4.7% from previous placement seasons.
With a promising start, the top 25 percent of students in the inaugural batch of MBA analytics received offers with an average stipend of INR 1,58,200 while the highest stipend stood at Rs 3,15,000.
The batch gender diversity saw a healthy improvement from 11% to 25%, and academic diversity increased to 42%.
IIM Kashipur placement and firms
As many as 91 companies recruited students from the 10th batch of the flagship MBA program and the first-ever batch of MBA analytics program. Firms offered roles in various sectors like consulting and strategy, IT and analytics, finance, HR, marketing and sales, general management, and Operations.
Most of the offers were made in the banking financial service and insurance sector. The top recruiters included industry leaders like ICICI Bank, OfBusiness, SIDBI, TATA Capital, Yes Bank, Vivriti Capital.
Students also bagged offers from leading organizations in automotive, aviation, consulting, e-commerce, ed-tech, fintech sectors among others. Companies in these sectors included Airtel, Bosch, Car Dekho, Cisco, Deloitte USI, JK Spices, KPMG, Morgan Stanley, Paytm Money, Puma, TATA Steel BSL etc.
