NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, will close the registrations for its PhD programme in Management on February 23. Candidates can apply for the management course directly through the official website at iiml.ac.in.
Candidates, applying for the PhD programme in management can opt between several research specialisations in different fields such as agri-business management, business sustainability, communication, decision sciences (OR/Stats), business environment (economics), finance and accounting, human resource management, information technology and systems, marketing management, operations management, and strategic management.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates, who have secured the following degrees or have completed educational qualifications are eligible to apply for the PhD programme in Management at the IIM Lucknow.

Notably, candidates having a valid score from the last two years in one of the entrance exams such as CAT, GATE, GRE, GMAT, or JRF, SRF (UGC, CSIR, ICAR), are also eligible to apply for the programme.
The selection process includes shortlisting of candidates for interview based on their exam scores and those holding qualifications from IIMs, could apply directly for the course without sitting for the exam.
The duration of the PhD programme is four and a half years and candidates will be provided “full tuition waivers, semi-furnished 1BHK accommodation, a generous monthly stipend, contingency grants, and a one-time computer purchase grant for doctoral scholars,” the institute said.
Moreover, the programme also offers funding for case writing, field research, professional memberships, family health insurance, and travel support for conferences.
