IIM Nagpur opens admissions for online PG certificate course in FinTech, AI for working professionals

The PG certificate programme in FinTech, AI in finance and risk management includes live online classes along with 3-day campus immersion.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Nagpur) has opened admissions for its postgraduate certificate programme in FinTech, AI in finance, and risk management. The one-year certificate course, designed for working professionals, will provide knowledge on digital finance, artificial intelligence, analytics, risk management, compliance, and emerging FinTech business models.
The PG certificate programme in FinTech , AI in finance and risk management includes live online classes along with 3-day campus immersion. The classes will be conducted on Sundays from 3:30 pm to 6:45 pm.
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates with diploma, graduate or postgraduate degree with a minimum 50% marks, having at least 3 years of working experience can apply for the certificate programme.
IIM Nagpur Online PG Certificate Course 2026: Fee, curriculum
The application charges for the PG certificate course is Rs 2,000, while the one-year programme fee is Rs 2 lakh plus GST. Candidates can also pay the programme fee in installments, as per the official statement.
Candidates completing the course will receive a certificate of completion, executive alumni status from IIM Nagpur .
As per the curriculum, candidates will be given hands-on exposure to emerging FinTech technologies, case discussions, assignments, project work and term papers. They will also be given hands-on sessions on generative AI tools for finance, capstone project themes across FinTech innovation, AI in finance, risk analytics, digital transformation and sustainable finance, the statement read.
“The announcement comes at a time when India’s financial services industry is being reshaped by digital payments, embedded finance, AI-led decision-making, blockchain, cybersecurity, fraud analytics, WealthTech, InsurTech and regulatory technology. As finance roles become more technology-driven, professionals are expected to move beyond traditional domain knowledge and understand how data, digital platforms and AI-led systems are transforming financial institutions,” the management institute said.
The curriculum covers foundations in accounting, finance and FinTech, digital financial services, digital payments, blockchain, strategy and leadership in financial services, AI in finance, Generative AI, analytics, AI governance, FinTech regulation, sustainable finance and risk management.
The programme is relevant for finance professionals, bankers, consultants, investment professionals, technology professionals, entrepreneurs and working professionals from BFSI, IT, IT services, analytics, consulting and allied sectors.
