IIM Raipur inaugurates fifth batch of executive MBA; 145 professionals enrolled

IIM-RR eMBA Programme: The participants with an average age group of 34 enrolled from major sectors including insurance, finance, healthcare, commerce and automotive.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur inaugurated the 5th batch of Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA). A total of 145 professionals, including 40 females and 105 male aspirants enrolled in the IIM Raipur Executive MBA programme.
As per the official press release, the two-year Executive MBA programme is offered in a hybrid mode, designed for junior, mid-level, and senior executives. The average age group of this year’s intake is 34.
The fifth cohort of the IIM Raipur eMBa programme represents a diverse range of student body, comprising participants with experience from various industrial backgrounds. The major sectors include insurance, finance, healthcare, commerce, automotive etc. “This diversity not only brings a wealth of knowledge to the program but also extensive networking opportunities,” the press release read.
IIM Raipur eMBA: Programme structure
As per the institute, the Executive MBA programme offers various general management theories, soft skills and analytical methods with real-world business scenario cases. The participants will also spend 15 days in IIM Raipur’ s campus over two campus visits.
The event featured Niharika Rai, HR Leader at Microsoft Security IDC, as the chief guest. IIM Raipur director Ram Kumar Kakani, along with faculty and staff members, was also present.
Addressing the gathering, Ram Kumar Kakani, Director, IIM Raipur, said, “Our two-year Executive MBA program is designed such that it will not only increase your knowledge base but also give a holistic development through exposure to international universities. The cohort this year represents a remarkable diversity of industries and expertise, which will foster collaborative growth. After these two years of learning, you will become an alumnus of IIM Raipur. Make out the maximum of your time in these two years.”
