IIM Rohtak records 100% placement, 75% increase in participating firms

All MBA students of IIM Rohtak’s 2019-20 batch received job offers. There were over 70 new recruiters this year.
NEW DELHI: All eligible students of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak got placed in the recently-concluded final placement drive for the 2019-21 batch of MBA students.
Over 50 percent IIM Rohtak students were hired in the analytics and consulting domain followed by the marketing with 39 percent placements. In finance, ten percent of the eligible students were placed.
This year also witnessed several pre-placement job offers from various top recruiters. More than 100 companies participated in the IIM Rohtak placement process. Over 70 new firms also hired outgoing students at IIM Rohtak.
In IIM Rohtak placements 2021, domains like consulting, sales and marketing, and finance stood out the most. The institute credited the diversity of students for the growing interest of recruiters.
“The institute has increased diversity in the PGP batch with over 70% of the female students in the batch and 50% students being non-engineers. This diversity has also been appreciated by the recruiters who offered highly sought-after roles to our students,” an official statement said.
IIM Rohtak placement: Recruiters
In the analytics and consulting domain, some of the prominent firms offering such roles were Bain Capability Network, KPMG, Infosys Consulting, Deloitte, OfBusiness, Axtria, Mu Sigma, and Capgemini.
In the marketing sector, top recruiters included ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, IndiaMart, AuthBridge, Diaspark, and Blackhawk. Companies like Deloitte, NatWest Group, and InteQuant emerged as the top recruiters in the finance domain.
Dheeraj Sharma, director IIM Rohtak, lauded the placement committee for achieving 100% placements despite the pandemic. “This is testimony of the trust of our recruiters in the dynamic, industrious, and ethical students of the institute. The unwavering support of our loyal recruiters and participation of several new companies in our placement process has helped us culminate our placement activities for this year well in time,” said Sharma.
