IIM Sambalpur to host 9th PAN IIM World Management conference from December 21 to 23

PAN-IIM Conference 2023: Directors of all 21 IIMs to converge at IIM Sambalpur for conference. IITs, NITs, other management institutes to take part.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur will be hosting the 9th ‘Pan-IIM World Management Conference’ from December 21 to 23 in Odisha. The conference will be led by the ministry of education and IIMs on the theme "Entrepreneurial Innovation and Digital Governance for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth”.
A total of 21 IIMs will be participating in the conference. Additionally, Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other management institutes across India will also participate.
Mahadeo Jaiswal, IIM Sambalpur director said: "The participants, including professors, researchers, doctoral students, industry professionals and alumni of various IIMs, will have open-ended discussions on topics of their respective domains."
The conference is likely to be attended by over 500 delegates including directors, vice-chancellors (VCs), deans, professors, scholars, industry people, CEOs, and top government officials, IIM Sambalpur director said.

He further said that the event provides an opportunity for professionals, academicians, policymakers to share research, ideas, and innovation in management disciplines.
During the three-day conference, participants will get publication opportunities, interactive workshops, enlightening plenary sessions, and roundtable discussions with scholars, policymakers and corporate leaders.
To participate, research papers will have to be submitted on various management topics. The conference is held every year by different IIMs on a rotational basis.
“This year it has been decided by all IIMs to have the 9th PAN IIM World Management conference at IIM Sambalpur as it has having State of the Art infrastructure,” the official statement said.
