IIM Trichy placement report 2025 highlights Rs 43.94 lakh top offer; over 150 firms in summer drive

IIM Tiruchirappalli reports an average CTC of Rs 19.27 lakh for PGPM and Rs 17.84 lakh for PGPM-HR in the 2025 placement cycle.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli has released its first independently audited placement report for the 2024–25 academic year. The report confirms that data related to placements, including compensation figures and recruiter participation, has been verified through an external audit to ensure accuracy and transparency.

As per the audited data, a total of 189 companies participated in the final placement process for the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), while 40 companies took part in the PGPM-Human Resources (HR) placements. The highest cost to company (CTC) recorded was Rs 43.94 lakh for PGPM and Rs 33.12 lakh for PGPM-HR. The average CTC stood at Rs 19.27 lakh and Rs 17.84 lakh, respectively.

During the summer placement process, over 150 companies participated, including 50 new recruiters. The highest stipend offered was Rs 3.5 lakh for PGPM and Rs 2 lakh for PGPM-HR students. Recruiters represented key sectors such as Information Technology, Consulting, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Operations, and Public Sector enterprises.

IIM Tiruchirappalli Placement Report: Audit reinforces data credibility

According to the institute, the audit aligns with its goal of maintaining data credibility and standardising placement reporting practices. The move follows IIM Tiruchirappalli’s AMBA re-accreditation and its 16th position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 management category.
