Use NowThe Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) will commence the registrations for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 on August 1. Candidates seeking admission to MBA and management courses will be able to register for the admission test through the official website at iimcat.ac.in.

The CAT 2025 exam for MBA and management courses at IIMs campuses and other colleges across the country will be conducted on November 30 .
As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree from a recognised university can apply for the CAT exam for admission to MBA programmes, including other management courses.

General category candidates must have 50% marks in their UG, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) should have 45% to be eligible for the CAT exam.
Importantly, students who are currently in their final year of bachelor’s degree can also apply for the CAT exam 2025 for MBA, management programmes. Notably, there is no fixed age cap to appear for the national-level entrance exam in India for admission to 21 IIMs across India.
The IIMs are located in Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bodh Gaya, Calcutta, Indore, Jammu, Kashipur, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Sambalpur, Shillong, Sirmaur, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur, and Visakhapatnam.
According to the official notification, there is no limit to the number of attempts to write the CAT exam. Eligible candidates can write the exam as many times as they want to be able to clear the exam.
