IISER IAT 2025 counselling registration deadline extended to July 7

Download EBookThe Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) extended the counselling deadline for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). Previously July 3, 2025, the deadline for registration and choice-filling has been moved to July 7, until 5 pm.
Admissions for five-year Bachelor of Science-Master of Science (BS-MS) dual-degree, four-year BS, and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes at IISER will be done through the IAT 2025, which was held in May. The final IAT result was declared on June 24, and from June 26 onwards, the counselling portal was opened for qualified candidates to register.
Candidates can register online for the IAT counselling on iiseradmission.in, using their registration number/application number along with the password to login. They will be allowed to fill in their top preferences from seven courses at 11 IISERs across India.

IISER: Programme eligibility
Candidates need not have studied mathematics in Class 12 for the five-year BS-MS dual-degree programme at all IISERS. Mathematics is compulsory for admission to the following programmes: Five-year BS-MS in computational and data sciences at IISER Kolkata , four-year BTech at IISER Bhopal, four-year BS in economic sciences at IISER Bhopal and four-year BS in economic and statistical sciences at IISER Tirupati.
The total number of seats available through IAT is 2,362 for all programmes at all IISERs. The IAT seat matrix is given below.
