Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) has released the provisional answer key for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026.

Candidates who appeared for IISER IAT entrance examination can now download the answer key from the official admission portal, iiseradmission.in, and use it to estimate their likely scores.

The IISER Aptitude Test 2026 was conducted today, June 7 in a single shift from 9 am to 12 noon for admission to BS-MS dual degree, BS and BTech programmes offered by IISER campuses. The answer key has been published shortly after the conclusion of the examination.

IISER IAT 2026 Provisional Answer Key: Steps to download

Candidates can follow the below steps to download IISER IAT 2026 provisional answer key;

  • Visit the official IISER Admissions website and navigate to the homepage where all examination-related updates are published.
  • Look for the notification or link titled “IAT 2026 Provisional Answer Key” and click on it to proceed to the answer key section.
  • If required, log in using your application credentials, such as your application number, user ID and password, to access the answer key document.
  • Once the answer key is displayed on the screen, carefully review the responses provided for each question and compare them with your own answers.
  • Download the provisional answer key PDF and save a copy on your mobile phone, tablet or computer so that you can refer to it later while calculating your probable score or raising objections, if necessary.

The admission authority will also release candidates' response sheets and open the objection window on June 9. Aspirants will be able to compare their recorded responses with the provisional answer key and raise challenges, if required, within the prescribed timeline.
