IIT Delhi to conduct JAM 2025 for admission to masters programmes
IIT JAM 2025 will be conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other participating institutes.
Candidates can download JAM previous year's papers to boost their exam preparation.

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) will organise the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2025, the institute announced. IIT JAM 2025 will be conducted for admission to masters programmes for the academic session 2025-26.
IIT JAM 2025 official website will be launched soon which will display the information brochure, exam dates, eligibility, syllabus, exam fee, test pattern, marking scheme, and more.
The exam is held as a computer-based test for seven papers including biotechnology, chemistry economics, geology, mathematics, mathematical statistics, and physics.
Candidates who have completed or will be appearing in the final examination of their undergraduate degree will be eligible for JAM 2025. There is no age restriction to appear in the test.
As per the exam pattern, the duration of JAM 2025 will be three hours. There will be a total of 60 questions carrying 100 marks. The question paper will be divided into three sections - section A, section B, and section C. Section A will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs), section B will include multiple select questions (MSQs), and section C will comprise numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
Last year, the exam was conducted in two sessions – session 1 from 9:30 to 12:30 pm and session 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Through JAM 2025, students will get admissions to various postgraduate programmes such as MSc, MSc (Tech), MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MS (Research), Joint MSc - PhD, and MSc - PhD Dual Degree programmes at the IITs, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs), IIEST Shibpur.
