NEW DELHI: The Chandigarh University’s University School of Business (USB) has launched the Bajaj Finserv Certificate Programme in Banking, Finance, and Insurance (CPBFI). The Chandigarh University’s new programme in collaboration with Bajaj Finserv, aims to provide training in the financial services sector for students, particularly first-generation graduates and undergraduates from smaller towns and rural areas.

As per Chandigarh University, the 100-hour virtual programme covers various aspects of banking, finance, and insurance, including workplace communication, banking and insurance products, customer interaction, and interview skills. As per the Chandigarh University, the programme is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for employment in these sectors.

Chandigarh University: CPBFI programme certification

Upon completion, students will receive a certification from NIIT-IFBI, a recognised institution in the financial services training sector. The Chandigarh University’s Bajaj Finserv certificate programme is structured to help students develop job-oriented skills and gain insights from industry professionals, as per the official press release.

The launch event featured Pallavi Gandhalikar, Kanwaljit Singh as guest experts, who shared insights on the banking, finance, and insurance industries. Their discussions focused on industry trends, employment opportunities, and the skill requirements in the financial sector.

Chandigarh University expands global partnerships for student exchange, research

Chandigarh University has partnered with over 515 universities across 100 counties and six continents with an aim to provide students with a global learning experience. The Chandigarh University has also established connections with over 350 QS-ranked universities, the official statement from the university said.

The university said, “These alliances span diverse regions and cultures, empowering students and faculty with opportunities for cross-border research, student exchanges, internships, and exposure to global best practices. As part of this initiative, we have successfully established connections with some of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions, including more than 350 universities ranked by QS.”
