IIT Delhi Placement 2023: Students get 1,050 job offers, 50-plus from international recruiters

Download NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has concluded the phase 1 of the placement drive with around 1,050 job offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs). IIT Delhi phase 2 placements 2023 will start mid-January.

Around 20 international organisations have offered 50-plus international offers. The recruiters are from countries including Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
IIT Delhi students have been mostly placed in core technical sector, IT sector and management. “IIT Delhi as a policy has decided not to mention high-value packages,” it added.
Top recruiters of phase 1, in terms of the number of students offered jobs, include Air India, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj Auto, and Ola Electric.
The Office of Career Services, IIT Delhi, said that they are aiming to get more companies and profiles in phase 2 drive. IIT-D placement session will span from December to May for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students.

We wish to thank and acknowledge all participating recruiting organizations for reposing their faith in our students. We welcomed recruiters hiring across domains. We look forward to this positive hiring trend continuing for the rest of the season.”
“More than 370 organisations across sectors offering 700-plus job profiles have registered to hire IIT Delhi students. Of these, processes have been completed for over 450 job profiles in this phase; others will be scheduled in the next phase,” Madan said.
