IIT JAM Admission 2025: The first admission list will be out on May 26. Candidates can pay the seat booking fee online till May 30. The withdrawal window will be open from June 7 to July 7.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has extended the admission form submission deadline for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2025. Eligible candidates can now fill out the IIT JAM 2025 admission form till April 11 through the JOAPS portal, joaps.iitd.ac.in.

As per the official schedule, the first admission list for IIT JAM 2025 will be declared on May 26, 2025. Candidates shortlisted in the list will have time till May 30, 2025, to make the online payment of the seat booking fee. The withdrawal option for those who wish to opt out will remain open from June 7 to July 7, 2025.
IIT JAM 2025 admission form free
Candidates seeking admission at IIT Delhi and other participating institutes for Master of Science (MSc), Master of Technology (MTech), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) courses are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 750.
Those who are offered and accept a seat must pay the seat booking fee online within the given deadline. The seat booking fee is Rs 15,000 for candidates belonging to the general, other backward classes–non-creamy layer (OBC-NCL), and economically weaker sections (EWS) categories, and Rs 7,500 for candidates from the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and persons with disability (PwD) categories.

IIT JAM Counselling 2025: Documents required
The following documents are required to be presented during the IIT JAM 2025 counselling process.
- Government-issued photo identity proof
- Birth certificate
- Marksheet of Class 10 and Class 12
- Certificate of Class 10 and Class 12
- Bachelor’s degree marksheet (last semester, if currently in final year)
- Bachelor’s degree certificate
- Transfer certificate from the college last attended
- IIT JAM 2025 scorecard
- Persons with Disability (PwD) certificate, if applicable
- Certificate of nationality (for General category candidates)
